Hey Austin,

Totally agree... it's already been used for years... it just didn't have a fancy name until a couple years back.

Great article. I must say that Integration Marketing is going to be the wave as it gathers momentum. When I was invited to see the video presentation, I thought this is just another buzz word but boy was I wrong. What I like so much about integration marketing is the simplicity that it embodies.

Thanks for your article.

Excellent article Trevor, I really enjoyed it. I've only been using Twitter for a little while, but I can already see the benefits it has over having to log into Facebook all the time.

I've found that a combination of Twitter, Facebook (with Twitter application which updates Facebook's status with Twitter messages), and my Wordpress blog (with a Twitter plugin) really helps me keep all these services connected, and allows me to utilize the best of each service to communicate my presence.

Thanks for doing this comparison, and keep up the good work!

Hey Henry,

No problem. I'm sure that page doesn't get a whole lot of visitors anymore... so hardly any people have probably seen the comment.

The "Close Old Posts" plugin is a great idea for a site like Techcrunch that is based on breaking news. It wouldn't work so well for many sites that want to foster continued discussion... but works perfect for your site focus.

Kudos on the quick action! Keep up the good work over there and we'll chat soon.

Cheers,

- Trevor

Hey Trevor,

Thanks for the heads up. We've removed the offending spam.

For spam filtering, we currently use Akismet, manual overseeing (which is hard to keep up), and also we use the 'Close Old Posts' WordPress plugin to turn off comments on posts after a couple of weeks.

Cheers,
-Henry
